New York Rangers vs Phoenix Coyotes

Next stop was New York, a place i have wanted to go forever. We had tickets booked to see the New York Rangers vs Phoenix Coyotes that night, we didn't think we were going to make it, due to crappy New York traffic....it is INSANE!!!! I don't think id last a day driving there. We made the game about half an hour late. But it was worth the rush, such a good atmosphere...and would highly recommend seeing a hockey game if you come to the US.

The crowd's go so crazy here and have chants for every time their team gets a goal. (the Rangers did win)

The GRAND Canyon

We took a helicopter flight into the Grand Canyon, while i thought we were just going to see one of the 7 wonders of the world...Nate had a bit of a suprise up his sleeve....and had decided after carrying the ring with him, through Los Angeles and some of Vegas that this was the place he would pop the question.

Looking down the strip

Hoover Dam

Coming into the Canyon

Landing

And a couple of minutes after Nate had proposed...pretty much in that exact spot

I gotta say, i think every girl has the thought of how your going to react the day he proposes. I honestly didn't think id cry...but i was a teary mess, i felt like i couldn't breath and the rest of the morning was a complete blur. He totally took me by surprise, i had no idea. But the day was so perfect, weather was beautiful and i couldn't of asked for a more romantic way for it to happen :)

Out and About in Vegas

Just some photo's of us out and about in Vegas!

Just outside our hotel

The amazing Bellagio fountains...doing there thing.

Just for you Mum...The Cheesecake Factory...yes it was amazing!!

Inside our hotel

Worlds biggest chocolate fountain...they had the best cakes in there

We were there for the opening of this hotel...We waited outside for 20 mins...thinking "wow an opening to a Vegas hotel"....counted down and then.................literally, nothing! No fireworks or anything. Talk about anti-climax! However when we were going to bed we did here Brandon FLowers (The Killers) singing on the rooftop!

Road trip to Vegas

We hired a car for the day and drove from Anaheim to Las Vegas....it was a good experience to be driving on the opposite side of the road and car. Nate did a great job and didn't turn onto the wrong side of the road at all. Our note for the day.. - Left hand turn far...right hand turn close. Great advise for anyone who is going to drive here!

There's one everywhere....wonder what its like there??

Some of the beautiful scenery

Mid way stop at Arby's...we were lucky enough to get a 2011 Mustang Convertible....it was such a novelty.

Nate thought he was the coolest cat out...hehe

Factory Outlets in the middle of no where....literally!
